
Eating Disorder Specialist & Psychotherapist (CBT-E, FPT)
Lauren is an Eating Disorder Specialist with advanced training in both Clinical Nutrition and Clinical Psychology, offering an integrated psychotherapy-led approach to the treatment of eating disorders with co-occurring anxiety and obsessive–compulsive presentations.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology (Distinction) from London Metropolitan University, where her research focused on therapist involvement in digital cognitive behavioural therapy for bulimia nervosa. In parallel, she completed a Master’s in Clinical Nutritional Therapy (Distinction) through The College of Naturopathic Medicine, forming the foundation of her work in psychological treatment and nutritional rehabilitation.
Lauren’s clinical training spans Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family-Based Therapy (FBT), and trauma-informed care. She has undertaken specialist training in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) through the University of Oxford, as well as Focal Psychodynamic Therapy (FPT) for eating disorders, strengthening her ability to work both symptom-focused and relationally.
Lauren is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) and the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP).
