Psychotherapist
Laura is a clinical psychologist who works from a holistic and integrative perspective that connects the mind, emotions, body, and spiritual dimension. Her aim is to accompany each person on a journey of self-awareness and emotional healing, helping them understand the root of their challenges and develop new tools for balance and well-being. She believes in a therapeutic process that is both compassionate and practical, one that honours each person’s individuality while promoting genuine and lasting change.
She holds a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from the International University of La Rioja. Laura is specialised in sensorimotor psychotherapy for trauma, emotional intelligence, eating disorders, and third-generation therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), compassion-focused therapy, and mindfulness. She also has additional training in self-esteem, mindfulness, and neurofeedback.
Before joining The Balance Luxury Rehab, Laura worked across a variety of clinical and multicultural settings in Spain and the UK. Her experience includes working as a psychotherapist in international treatment centers for eating disorders and trauma, as well as within multidisciplinary teams addressing complex mental health challenges. These experiences have shaped her understanding of human resilience and the deep connection between psychological, emotional, and physical health.
In her therapeutic work, Laura values authenticity, presence, and connection. She strives to create a safe and empathetic space where clients feel seen and supported as they explore their emotions and life experiences. She does not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions; instead, she adapts each process to the person in front of her, recognizing that true healing happens when individuals feel understood, validated, and empowered to rediscover their inner strength.
