Yoga

Amme Poulton began her yoga journey in the 1990s while studying to become a lawyer. From the beginning, she was drawn to the gentleness of yin as well as the strength of vinyasa, learning how both softness and discipline can support healing. Like many, she discovered that physical pain could become a doorway to emotional freedom.

Since first training in 2001, Amme has studied with a wide range of teachers and developed a teaching style that balances movement with stillness, strength with ease. She specializes in adapting yoga for rehabilitation—working with injuries, different fitness levels, and personal needs—always with the aim of making yoga safe, supportive, and transformative.

Amme is currently exploring the relationship between modern science and ancient yoga, weaving evidence-based understanding with timeless wisdom to support recovery and resilience.
