Somatic Work
In parallel to her professional career as a management skills trainer, Ana began training in body disciplines driven by her personal need to connect with her body and emotions.
Her desire to heal and natural curiosity led her to explore the body as a place to feel and express herself in a different way.
During her initial encounter with Shiatsu, Ana discovered the importance of touch and its impact on the body. Later, through Pilates, she explored the necessity of structure and awareness in movement. This path led her to PCI, a technique that combines nurturing contact, awareness, and the expression through movement she deeply longed for, allowing her to be herself and connect with her essence.
After a few years, her desire to dive deeper emerged, leading her to begin training in Somatic Experiencing. This practice helped her work with her nervous system, develop greater presence, become aware of more subtle layers, and understand trauma alongside the concept that “words are not enough.”
In addition to meditation and movement, nature offers Ana another way to reset and center herself, reminding her of humility and belonging to something greater.
