Privacy & discretion

Your story belongs to you.

Deciding to seek treatment is a private decision. You can discuss confidentiality, communication with others and any particular privacy requirements with our admissions team before you arrive.

The people who appear in these films share their own perspectives. Your care will be shaped around your circumstances, needs and preferences.

Our approach to privacy

Before you decide

Questions you may have.

Will my experience be like the films?

The films offer individual perspectives. Your assessment, treatment plan, pace and length of stay will depend on your needs. A personal story cannot predict someone else’s experience or outcome.

Can my family or existing clinician be involved?

With your authorisation, family members, existing clinicians or trusted advisers can be involved where appropriate. Roles, communication and boundaries are agreed around your needs.

What happens after residential treatment?

Transition and continuing support are considered during your stay. The plan may include coordination with your existing clinicians, family support and ongoing care suited to your circumstances.

How can I discuss whether THE BALANCE is suitable?

Contact our admissions team for a confidential conversation about the situation, previous care and what support may be appropriate. The first step is to understand your circumstances.
